Chickamauga Battlefield Marathon, Half, 5k and Jr. Marathon

The 37th Annual Chickamauga Battlefield Marathon is run through the nation's oldest military park.Described as one of the most important battles of the Civil War, the Chickamauga Battlefield landscape is lined with monuments and markers honoring those who fought one of the bloodiest battles over 150 years ago.     

The mostly paved course is challenging but not extraordinarily difficult. The Start and Finish take place at the original parade ground and polo field of the "Fighting Sixth"Cavalry, Approximately 23 miles of the double loop portion of the course winds through this scenic historic military memorial. Over 250 volunteers support every stage of the course from sentries to aid stations to a bike patrol.  You might even see a reenactor or two.

The Marathon and Half Marathon are the Road Runners Club of America 2016 Georgia State Championships.  The marathon is a Boston Qualifier.  This event includes a wheelchair division for the Marathon, Half Marathon and 5K.

Spooky Mile Time Trial... and After PARTY!

Join us for our weekly track workout, but with a halloween twist!

The workout: Mile Time Trial! (coach might even bring out the old white board)

Wear a costume! This haunted halloween night, you'll run faster when gremlins, zombies or even Davy Jones himself chasing you around the track!
