Fast Break at the Music City Track Carnival: A Weekend That Had It All

Fast Break at the Music City Track Carnival: A Weekend That Had It All

This past weekend, our Fast Break crew hit the road and headed to the Music City Track Carnival in Cleveland —and we showed up in full force. What unfolded was a weekend that captured the full spirit of running: youth excitement, personal bests, elite performances, and the kind of community energy that reminds us why we do what we do.

From the first elementary heat to the final professional showdown, this meet had something for everyone. We watched wide-eyed elementary schoolers step onto the track with nervous smiles, high schoolers break through barriers with PRs, and Olympic hopefuls test their fitness on one of the fastest stages in the country. It was raw, real, and electric.

Fast Break was proud to be an official sponsor alongside New Balance, and our presence extended far beyond a logo. Our team was on-site bringing the noise, repping Chattanooga, and supporting the next generation of athletes in every way we could. We had staff cheering in the stands, local athletes on the starting line, and countless conversations with families, fans, and first-time meet-goers who are just starting to fall in love with this sport.

Big shoutout to Boujee Fox Photography, who captured the heart of the weekend with incredible photos. Want to relive the action or spot yourself in the stands? Click here to check out the gallery.

The Music City Track Carnival isn’t just a race meet—it’s becoming a movement. It’s a celebration of what track and field can be when everyone is welcome. And that’s exactly the kind of energy Fast Break believes in. Whether it’s kids running their very first 100m or seasoned pros chasing Olympic standards, every step matters—and we’re here for all of it.

Our partnership with New Balance helps fuel this mission. Together, we’re investing in events that bring the Southeast running community together and give young athletes opportunities to dream bigger. We saw it in Nashville, and we’re already planning how to show up even stronger next year: more visibility, more local involvement, and more love for the sport from the ground up.

To the meet directors, volunteers, vendors, parents, coaches, and athletes—thank you. You brought the heat, and we’re honored to be a part of it.

Until next year, keep running, keep showing up, and keep building this amazing community. We’re just getting started.
