Rabid Raccoon [Jan. 13, 2024]

- More info: The Rabid Raccoon, presented by Bad Beard Events, is an epic middle-distance race in Chattanooga, Tennessee, that begins atop Raccoon Mountain at Laurel Point. Each year, the looped course changes direction, with this year going counter-clockwise. Warm soup awaits you at the finish line!

38th Annual Wauhatchie Trail Race [Feb. 3, 2024]

- More info: One of the area's oldest trail races, the course is a hilly 6.7 miles of gravel/dirt roads and rough double track trails on the lower slopes of Lookout Mountain, starting at Reflection Riding.

McKee Southern 6 Trail Race [Feb. 18, 2024]

- More info: Come join us for the 14th annual McKee Southern 6 Trail Race presented by Southern's Outdoor Adventure Program! Everyone and anyone is invited to run in the six kilometer trail race and compete for cash prizes. The event will take place on the campus' White Oak Mountain trails in Collegedale, Tennessee.

Raccoon Mountain Road Race [Feb. 24, 2024]

- More info: The Raccoon Mountain Road Races take place at one of the most scenic, quiet, and peaceful race courses in the region. The course is entirely on roads within the TVA reserve, meaning vehicular traffic will be minimal. Most of the race circles a 528 acre lake, with a portion of the race run on the largest rockfill dam ever built by TVA, 8500 feet long and 230 feet high. From the dam, spectacular views of the Tennessee River Gorge toward the west and Lookout Mountain toward the south make this race unique.

Erlanger Chattanooga Marathon [March 1-3, 2024]

- More info: The Chattanooga Marathon is one of the area's biggest race weekends of the year! Starting at the First Horizon Pavilion next to Finley Stadium, the half marathon (two loops for marathon) route takes you through some of the city's most iconic throughways, including the Walnut Street Bridge, Fort Hill neighborhood, and MLK Boulevard.
